Social Planner lets you connect your Facebook Pages so you can publish posts, manage content, and engage with your audience — all from one place. This guide walks you through the setup process from start to finish.
Before You Begin
A couple of things to know before you connect:
- If you've connected Facebook Pages before and want to add new ones: You'll need to remove the existing Captivation Hub app from your Facebook account first. Go to your Facebook Settings > Business Integration, find the Captivation Hub app, and click Remove. Then follow the steps below.
- Admin access is required: You must log in with the Facebook profile that has admin rights to the Pages you want to connect. Only Pages where you have admin access will be available to select.
Note: Facebook no longer supports posting to personal profiles. You can, however, connect Pages from multiple different Facebook profiles within Social Planner.
Step 1 — Open Social Planner Settings
In Captivation Hub, go to Marketing > Social Planner. In the top right corner, click the Settings gear icon to open Social Planner settings.
Step 2 — Connect a Facebook Page
In the settings panel, click Connect a new Facebook Page. This will start the authorization process and allow you to manage multiple Facebook Pages from Social Planner.
Step 3 — Grant Permissions
If this is the first time connecting this Facebook profile, you'll be prompted to review and approve the permissions Captivation Hub needs to manage and publish to your Pages. Click Continue to complete the authorization.
Step 4 — Select Your Facebook Page(s)
After granting permissions, a list of all Facebook Pages associated with your profile will appear. Select the Pages you want to connect to Social Planner, then confirm your selections.
Step 5 — Verify the Connection
Once connected, your selected Pages will appear in Social Planner showing a successful connection status. From here, you can start scheduling and publishing posts to those Pages.
You can repeat this process to add Pages from the same or different Facebook profiles. There's no limit to how many Pages you can connect.
