Automatically Generating a PDF for Every Form, Survey & Quiz Submission

Capturing a response is great, but having it instantly available as a clean, printable document is even better. The new Generate Submission Document setting automatically creates and stores a PDF copy of every submission, so you never have to build one manually.

What's New

A new Generate submission document toggle is now available in the Settings panel for:

• Forms
• Surveys
• Quizzes

When it's turned on, every new submission automatically generates a beautifully formatted PDF document.

Key Highlights

• Automatically generates a printable PDF for every submission
• Includes all questions and submitted responses
• Captures submission metadata, including submission date and time, and contact information
• Automatically stores the document under Contacts → Documents → Forms, Surveys, or Quizzes
• Automatically associates the document with the contact, so you can use it across supported CRM workflows
• If the toggle is off, no PDF documents are generated

PDF Naming Convention

Generated documents follow a consistent naming format:

• Forms & Surveys: [FormName]_[ContactName]_[YYYY-MM-DD_HHMM]
• Quizzes: Result_[FormName]_[ContactName]_[YYYY-MM-DD_HHMM]

Good to Know

• PDF generation is optional and controlled per Form, Survey, or Quiz.
• Documents are automatically organized into their respective folders (Forms, Surveys, or Quizzes).
• Existing submissions aren't affected. Only new submissions generate documents once the setting is turned on.
