Domain Transfer-Out

Customers can now transfer domains purchased through or transferred into Captivation Hub to another registrar directly from their dashboard.

Transfer Instructions

Sign in to Captivation Hub using your login, then follow these steps inside their sub-account:

1. Go to Settings > Domains
2. Locate the domain you want to transfer
3. Click Manage
4. Open Advanced Settings
5. Select Configuration
6. Click Transfer to another registrar

What Happens Next

Once the transfer process is started, the system will check whether the domain is eligible to be transferred.

A domain cannot be transferred out if:

• It was registered or transferred within the last 60 days
• It is restricted from transfer by the current registrar or registry
• It is already in an active transfer process

If the domain is eligible, you can:

• Choose their new registrar
• Unlock the domain if needed
• Request the authorization code also known as the EPP code

The authorization code will be sent to:

• The domain owner who purchased the domain
• The agency owner

Please note that the auth/EPP code can only be requested again after 5 minutes from the previous request.

Important Notes

• Transfers for .uk, .co.uk, .org.uk, and .me.uk domains require support assistance
• Transfers to Cloudflare Registrar also require support assistance (support@captivationhub.com)
