Captivation Hub gives you a range of customization options for your Chat Widget, so it feels like a natural part of your site and matches your brand. Here is an overview of what you can configure and how to access those settings.
How Does It Work?
To get started, navigate to Sites > Chat Widget in your Captivation Hub account. Click New to create a chat widget, then select the type you want to use — Email/SMS Widget, Live Chat, or WhatsApp Chat. Once your widget is created, go to the Widget tab to start customizing the look and feel.
Here is a breakdown of the customization options available:
- Chat Launcher: Add a chat launcher button with or without a prompt message to encourage visitors to start a conversation.
- Chat Icon Selection: Choose the chat icon that best matches your brand and website style.
- Theme Customization: Select a predefined theme or fully customize the widget colors and styling to align with your brand identity.
- First-Time and Returning Visitor Messages: Set personalized welcome messages depending on whether a visitor is new or returning.
- Widget Placement: Choose where the widget appears on the page — bottom left or bottom right.
- Widget Size: Adjust the size of the chat launcher to suit your layout.
You can preview how your widget looks in real time as you make changes, so there is no guessing about the final result.
Once you are happy with how it looks, save your settings and add the widget to your Captivation Hub funnels, websites, or any external site using the embed code provided.
