Overview
Digital Fulfillment allows you to automatically deliver digital products — such as downloadable files or access URLs — to customers via email when they complete a purchase in your Captivation Hub store. This guide walks you through configuring digital fulfillment for your e-commerce products.
Setting Up a Digital Product
Digital fulfillment supports two delivery methods: uploading a file directly, or providing a URL for customers to access. You can configure these on each product within your store.
Option 1 — Upload a File
Navigate to your product settings and use the upload option to attach the digital file (e.g., a PDF, video, or zip archive). This file will be securely delivered to customers as an email attachment after purchase.
Option 2 — Provide a URL
Alternatively, supply a URL that customers will receive access to after purchase — for example, a link to a private course, download page, or members-only resource.
Email Delivery Template
When a customer purchases a digital product, Captivation Hub sends an automated fulfillment email containing their file or access link. You can customize the email template to match your brand and include any relevant instructions for the customer.
Configuring the Thank You Page
After a successful purchase, customers are directed to a Thank You page. You can configure this page to confirm their order and let them know their digital product is on the way.
Using the Page Builder for the Thank You Page
For a fully branded experience, use the Captivation Hub Page Builder to design a custom Thank You page. This lets you add personalized messaging, upsells, or additional resources alongside the order confirmation.
Managing Orders
All digital fulfillment orders appear in your Orders dashboard. From here you can view customer details, order status, and confirm that fulfillment emails were successfully sent.
Enabling Fulfillment Notifications
To ensure customers receive their digital products promptly, make sure fulfillment notifications are enabled in your store settings. Toggle on the notifications option to activate automatic email delivery upon order completion.
