Captivation Hub automatically saves unsent messages in Conversations, so you never lose a reply you were working on. Whether you get pulled away mid-message or switch to another conversation, your draft is still there when you come back.
How Drafts Work
Message drafts save automatically in the background — there's nothing you need to do to enable this. Here's what gets saved:
- Regular message drafts save as soon as you start typing. If you leave the conversation before sending, your draft is waiting when you return.
- Internal Comment drafts persist even if you switch channels, collapse or expand the composer, or move to a different conversation.
- The composer also remembers your last selected channel when you collapse it, so you're always picking up right where you left off.
These behaviors are designed to keep context intact and help your team move faster without retyping messages.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to turn this on?
No. Draft saving is automatic for all accounts — nothing to enable.
Will my draft still be there if I close the tab and come back?
Yes. Drafts persist across sessions so you can pick up where you left off.
Does this work for internal comments too?
Yes. Internal Comment drafts are saved separately and persist even when you switch between channels or conversations.
