The Social Planner inside Captivation Hub now lets you view and manage comments on your social media posts without leaving the platform. This is especially useful for clients who want to handle their own engagement directly inside Captivation Hub instead of bouncing between native social apps.
What's new
Comments on connected social posts now appear inside the Social Planner. From there you can:
- Read incoming comments on your published posts
- Reply directly from Captivation Hub
- Stay on top of engagement without opening Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or other connected platforms
Why this matters
For agencies and end users alike, social engagement usually means switching tabs all day. Pulling comments into Social Planner keeps the conversation in the same place where the post was scheduled, which makes day-to-day community management much easier — especially when clients are managing their own social presence inside their Captivation Hub sub-account.
Step 1 — Open Social Planner
From your Captivation Hub sub-account, navigate to Marketing > Social Planner.
Step 2 — Find the Comments view
Open the comments section inside Social Planner. You'll see a list of recent comments grouped by post and connected social account.
Step 3 — Reply or take action
Tap a comment to view its full thread, then reply directly from Captivation Hub. The reply posts back to the original social network so the commenter sees it natively.
FAQ
Which social platforms are supported?
Comment management is available for the social accounts you've already connected to Social Planner. If a platform supports comments through its API, those comments will show up here.
Will my clients be able to use this on their own?
Yes — that's one of the main reasons this was added. Clients managing their own social presence inside their sub-account can handle engagement without needing access to the native social apps.
Are notifications available for new comments?
Existing notification settings inside your sub-account control whether new social comments generate alerts. Check your notification preferences if you want to be pinged when new comments arrive.
