Adding, sharing, and requesting documents from contacts has never been easier. Documents streamline the entire document management and sharing workflow for your business.
Document Categories
Documents are organized into three categories:
- Internal Documents — Files stored privately on a contact's profile, accessible only to users with contact access.
- Sent to Contact Documents — Coming soon.
- Received from Contact Documents — Coming soon.
Internal Documents
Store documents for your contacts within the CRM directly on the Contact Details page. These documents can be accessed by any user who has permission to view the contact.
Documents added to custom fields are automatically placed in a folder named "Custom Fields" within the Internal section. Note that documents stored in custom fields cannot be deleted.

Adding Documents to a Contact
To add a new document to the Internal section:
- Open the contact's profile and navigate to the Documents tab.
- Click + Add → New File.
- Select and upload your file.
Supported file types: PPT, Docs, PDF, CSV, and various image formats.
Maximum file size: 250MB per document.
Searching for Documents
Use the search bar on the contact's Documents tab to find files by document name.
