Captivation Hub has introduced a new Conditional Visibility feature in email templates, allowing you to control when a button appears based on recipient data. This feature helps personalize email content by displaying buttons only to users who meet specific conditions, such as location.
Follow the steps below to set up conditional visibility for buttons in your email templates.
Step 1: Create or Edit an Email Template
- Log into Captivation Hub.
- Navigate to Marketing > Emails > Templates.
- Click Create New Template or select an existing template to edit.
Step 2: Add a Button to Your Email
- Inside the email editor, select the Button element.
- Drag and drop the button into your email template.
Step 3: Enable Conditional Visibility
- Click on the Button to open its settings panel.
- Scroll down to the Conditions area.
- Click on Visibility and turn on the Conditional setting.
Step 4: Set Up a Condition
- Choose a condition from the dropdown menu.
- Example: To show the button only to recipients in a specific city, select City as the condition.
- Enter the city name (e.g., Los Angeles).
- Click Save to apply the condition.
Now, the button will only appear in the email if the recipient’s city matches "Los Angeles".
Step 5: Test and Send Your Email
- Review the template to ensure the condition is set correctly.
- Send a test email to verify that the button appears only for recipients who meet the condition.
- Finalize and send your email campaign.
Conclusion
With Conditional Visibility, you can personalize email content by controlling when buttons appear based on recipient data. This feature is useful for targeted promotions, location-based offers, or customized call-to-action buttons.
