Tired of scrolling through a long, messy list of voice agents? Folders keep your Voice AI workspace tidy and quick to navigate. This guide walks through how to create, manage, and customize folders for your Voice AI Agents in Captivation Hub.
What Folders Do for Voice AI Agents
Folders let you sort Voice AI agents into categories inside the agent list so you can find what you need fast. For larger deployments, this structure makes navigation easier and lowers the risk of editing or deleting the wrong agent.
You'll find folders under AI Agents > Voice AI > Agent List. They support core operations like create, move, rename, and delete, plus bulk operations for managing agents and folders at scale.
Step 1 — Create a New Folder
Build your structure by creating folders and pre-assigning agents so your list is organized from day one.
- Click Create Folder from your Voice AI Agent List.
- Enter a Folder Name and pick any existing Associated Agents you want to drop into the new folder.
- Click Create Folder. Your selected agents land neatly inside.
Step 2 — Manage Folders (Move, Delete, and Edit)
Keep folders current by moving agents between them, renaming folders, or deleting any you no longer need.
Move an Agent Across Folders
- Click the 3-dot (⋮) icon and choose Move to Different Folder.
- Use the Available Folders dropdown to choose the destination.
- Click Move Agent and the agent transfers instantly.
Delete a Folder
If a folder isn't useful anymore, click the 3-dot (⋮) icon and choose Delete. Heads up: this only removes the folder. The agents inside are returned to the main list — they aren't deleted.
Rename or Edit a Folder
- From the folder view, click the 3-dot (⋮) icon and choose Edit.
- Update the name in the Folder Name field, or use the Associate Agents dropdown to update the agents stored inside.
Step 3 — Use Bulk Actions
Managing a lot of agents at once? Bulk actions cut the busywork. With them you can:
- Delete Agents
- Delete Folders
- Move Agents
- Sell on Marketplace
- Copy URL for Marketplace
How to use them:
- Select several agents or folders using the checkboxes.
- Click Bulk Actions, then pick the action you want from the dropdown.
Step 4 — Customize Your Agent List View
You decide how the list shows up. Adjust the Agent List View to match your workflow and find agents or folders fast.
- Grouping: switch between grouped (folder) and flat (agent-first) views from the sort options.
- Sorting: sort by last updated or by name, for either agents or folders, so the list always opens to what you need first.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can an agent live in multiple folders?
No — each agent can only sit in one folder at a time.
Q: How many Voice AI agents can I create?
Up to 100 agents.
Q: What happens to agents when I delete a folder?
The agents aren't deleted. They simply return to the main agent list.
Q: Does search work across folders?
Search is context-aware. To find agents inside a folder, open the folder first and use its search there. Searching from the main Agent List won't return agents that live inside folders.
Q: If I create or duplicate an agent while viewing a folder, where does it go?
It saves into the currently open folder.
